- Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.- Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization.- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.- Configure and install various network devices and services.- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning

- Working knowledge of major NE component vendors (Cisco, Huawei, Extreme).- Good understanding of routing protocol (OSPF, ISIS, BGP).- Good understanding of MPLS protocol and technique (LDP, TE, FRR, L2VPN, L3VPN)- Good understanding PPP protocol (PPPOE, PPPOA, VPDN).- Excellent Knowledge of Security Technologies.- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non technical colleagues.- Administering & designing LANs, WANs network.- Network connectivity troubleshooting.- Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems.- Very good knowledge in Access DSLAM (Huawei, Ericsson , Siemens, ZTE).- Good background in transmission infrastructure (SDH, DWDM, E1, STM-x).- Working knowledge of major operation systems.- Use multiple network management system (U2000, CiscoWorks, Huawei OSS)- Authorized Technical person in RIPE NCC (Syrian Telecom LIR)- Good understanding of database mechanism (MySQL).- Good understanding of HTTP server (Apache).
