I have about 23 years of service, with a 3-year break in between when I worked as a client support officer for Wakefield Council. I was employed on the Step Up, Gateway to Employment Programme and came in to run the pilot program based out of Knottingley before its expansion across the whole Wakefield district. In this role, I focused on supporting individuals in their return to work, removing barriers hindering their progress in life and supporting many neurodivergent clients.I've coordinated and run many CSR projects during my time at Fujitsu, collaborating with local educational institutions, job centres, and employment programs to support our community and assist both school/college leavers and job seekers alike.With over two decades of experience in customer support and recruitment, I have worked extensively to identify untapped pools of talent and foster inclusive teams in the workplace. I am dedicated to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, and am committed to supporting those with challenges in the workplace.My other half runs an online sensory toys business, which initially was created by my autistic daughter during Lockdown who wanted to start selling sensory toys; she became a bit of a TikTok hit at the time until the usual negative side of social media completely put her off.Our website is:www.sensorylanduk.com
