I help run IxDA Oslo, put together workshops and run a variety of design education initiatives.IxDA Oslo in brief:• We're a local chapter of IxDA, a global organization promoting the field of interaction design and user experience. • 5200+ members and growing. We're one of the biggest IxDA groups in the world• We're a registered non-profit / professional association.• Each year, we produce 10 events on design and product management with expert speakers from around the globe. We've produced 160+ meetups since 2003.• Workshops on UX, product management, service design and digital transformation with recognized international experts• We manage a long-running program on improving the quality and scale of interaction and service design education in Norway. We support Norwegian design schools and design educators, work on improving educational policy and on creating a viable funnel of design talent from primary education and all the way into industry.• Started up 2003. In addition to working as a designer, I invest much of my time in mentoring students and participating as a juror for various design awards in Norway. These include:• Student work at The Oslo School of Architecture and design, and at Aalto University's design department• The Norwegian Design Council's award for design excellence, Merket for God Design and their lifetime achievement award, Jacob-prisen.• IxDA Oslo's own prize for interaction design, co-produced with Grafill.

In projects, I help clients retool their value propositions, service offerings and customer experiences to achieve a better fit with the future. How the client's business works, what their goals are, what their value chain looks like, what's happening in their sector, how should we manage our teams and tackle our platform's technical debt – all of this informs how I work, from the product roadmap down into the details of our designs.

I managed a multidisciplinary team of developers, project managers, interaction designers and management consultants.Some things we did:• building well-rounded collaboration tools that gave employees agency and made a positive impact on the organization• analyzed, critiqued and reworked large corporate intranets• drove the adoption of social software at client sites• researching and sharing findings on collaboration and participation• developed new methods for mapping information flow with experts from academia

The global Interaction conference took place Lyon in February 2018. I served on the four-member program committee.The conference lasted three days, showcased 70+ speakers, produced 20+ workshops, and had 1500+ participants. Along with my colleagues I vetted and ranked an enormous number of talk proposals, liaised with speakers and workshop organizers and created a high-quality, inclusive and diverse conference lineup I also served as host and moderator throughout each of the three conference days. An intense, highly demanding and very rewarding experience.

Noon was an award-winning graphic design, illustration and web agency. I worked there part-time during my master's studies. My roles:• Interaction design• Project management• Client care

Cellus was an extremely successful SMS & mobile services provider. They were acquired by Aspiro in 2005.My roles:• Mobile service development• Partner negotiations and relations• Project management

Cube was a gaming startup that pioneered casual games for mobile, about a decade too early.My roles:• Game concept development• Interaction design for web and mobile• Information architecture• Coaching our designers and modelersI also worked on a pilot project that proposed a long-tail approach to publishing comics in Europe via web and mobile with easy and safe subscription for readers and a new revenue stream for creators.
