Provide case management services to individuals with criminal backgrounds, both pre and post release to assist in creating case plans and providing resources to clients by focusing on six core components of education, employment, family reunification, healthcare, housing, and mentorship. The responsibilities of the housing liaison consisted of connecting and establishing relationships with apartment complexes to provide opportunities for clients with criminal backgrounds to have a safe and stable living environment. The Housing Liaison was also took on the responsibility of advocating on behalf of clients who applied to the Dallas Housing Authority, to ensure that the clients criminal record did not prevent the clients application for HUD assistance to be denied. Approved clients were provided case management services for the first two years of being under DHA's project based voucher program.
