GEM offers an evidence-based mentorship program for high school girls facing socioeconomic barriers to build their leadership and professional skills to achieve their academic and career potential. Throughout my time as a GEM Mentee, I receive one-on-one guidance and support in my personal and professional development.

As co-president, I led and organized events and activities run by AHC to promote awareness and appreciation of Asian cultures within the school community. I managed all club operations to ensure an organized environment.

As a co-lead of Danforth's news broadcasting channel, I managed and coordinated with the club's videographers, editors, and hosts. I ensured the timely and organized production of weekly episodes and their publication on the Headlines YouTube and Instagram accounts.

As a Builder on the Danforth Robotics team, I am responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of complex and valuable competition robots. I work on developing the most stable and efficient build for the VEX robots, as well as overseeing its condition during regional and provincial competitions.

As the Secretary for the MSA, I manage meeting agendas and take detailed notes at the weekly meetings. I also handle scheduling, assist in organizing events, and keep track of important documents and deadlines, helping the MSA run efficiently and achieve its goals of spreading the beauty of Islam around the school.

As the Secretary of Danforth CTI's STEAM Innovation Challenge Chapter, I organize and lead meetings, manage meeting minutes, and maintain the club's Google Classroom. I also oversee task delegation, lesson plans, and assist with external events and treasury when needed.

I participated in Model UN conferences hosted by Toronto high schools, including BSSMUN and TMUN. I engaged in debates, developed position papers, and honed public speaking and negotiation skills while roleplaying as United Nations delegates to address current global issues.

Managed the social media accounts for Danforth's Student Council, including Instagram, TikTok, and Linktree. As PR, I communicated activities and events to the school body through the use of creative mediums such as videos and Instagram posts. I also broadcasted morning announcements daily through the PA system.

During my time as a YIPI employee, I gained valuable experience through educational assignments, productive community placements, and collaboration with police officers and civilian staff across various roles. My placement at the Toronto Police Headquarters Homicide Unit consisted of various administrative tasks to improve the organizational well-being of the unit. This opportunity enabled me to build positive partnerships within the Toronto Police Service and prepare me for the workforce.

The Apprentice Program is an immersive, technology-focused initiative of the Rotman School of Management's Creative Destruction Lab. It aims to support young women-identified individuals interested in STEM and entrepreneurship careers.As a CDL Apprentice, I attended an eye-opening in-person session in the Matter Stream, shadowing industry-leading mentors and their advisory meetings with start-up tech companies.

BeYOUtiful is a youth-led, program that provides a series of workshops and activities dedicated to nurturing leadership skills, self-confidence, and civic engagement amongst young womxn. In a small group and with the program's provided funding, I implemented an inspiring small clothing business intending to contribute to womxn's self love and self worth.
