Michael Parnes is the COO and General Manager of FeartPix and is a veteran television and film strategist with over two decades of experience. Parnes started his career in the entertainment industry with Sony Music in marketing and promotions, where he witnessed firsthand and played an integral role in the industry’s digital wave. Transitioning to television, Michael joined Turner Broadcasting, contributing to TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and more. His expertise in consumer products, research, and analytics led him to The Weather Channel, where he played a pivotal role in developing one of the first consumer-facing apps. Parnes continued to rise up the ranks and became Vice President of Insights and Strategy for the Adult Swim Brand, a position he held for over seven years until 2021. Outside of his career within television and film, Parnes is a musician and has played guitar in numerous bands. Additionally, Parnes also is an eco-farmer who grows and produces his own organic wines, “Parnesfarm Vineyards.” The biggest part of Parnes that has provided him a unique view and approach to everything that he does: he is a living kidney donor and was part of the earliest five-way kidney transplant ‘swap.’Since leaving Turner and joining FearPix, Parnes has been the head of his own boutique consulting firm, 45rpm Consulting, and has worked with a variety of clients ranging from media, technology, sports, finance and pharma.
