Currently studying International Studies in Shipping and Chartering B.A. at Hochschule Bremen.Previously, I worked as a P&I Correspondent at Claims Services P&I (formerly Charles Taylor P&I Philippines). During my 6-year stint as a P&I Correspondent, I handled various claims ranging from marine cargo, seafarer illness/injury/death, and other marine liability claims acting for and on behalf of leading P&I Clubs/Associations, Shipowners, Charterers, Insurance Brokers, and Marine Underwriters. I was trained to resolve marine liability claims, provide customer service, conduct casualty investigation and proactive risk management for loss prevention.For over a year, I was also trained within the hull and machinery (H&M) adjusting unit of the company which is associated with Richards Hogg Lindley (UK). I assisted our Average Adjusters in managing and adjusting H&M claims (both PA and GA).I was also a part-time working student at Lampe & Schwartze Marine Underwriting until February 2023. As an Assistant Claim Manager, my main task was to resolve vast amount of claims on perishable goods transported in reefer due to delays following the worldwide port congestions in 2020-2022.From April 2023, I joined Lomar Shipping - Bremen office as a working student assisting both Insurance and Operations departments.
