I grew up in a Pilipinx immigrant family with that “Did you eat yet?” kind of love, where hospitality is forefront and tangible, and where our labor and dreams are not just for ourselves but for community, including generations behind and beyond. My work lives in those person-to-person moments but is grounded on an accountability to community and culture change. At The Dinner Party, that's working with teams to change the culture around grief at their workplaces and shaping the programs that connect young adult grievers to peers nationwide.In my past, it's looked like direct social services (primarily with people experiencing homelessness); faith-based organizing; and spiritual care in hospitals, workplaces, retreats and one-on-one. I am an attentive and inclusive facilitator in small and large group settings. I am systems-minded with a sharp eye for detail. I bring perspectives and practices of collective healing and anti-oppression to all I do. And I might just be your favorite person to invite to a potluck.
