A start up coffee shop, I was the 1st barista to be trained and work. I’m a serious coffee lover so I acquired the art, science and skill to make the best cup of coffee. My ability to speak, engage and think on my feet were enhanced because I had to engage with different people everyday, throughout the day and sell them the whole experience of coffee rather than just the coffee in the cup.

I worked as a bartender at Thirst on a part-time basis. Occasional courses on how to improve our skills were always ongoing, and are very focused on treating the customer as royalty.Some events I have worked include: - DSTV Delicious Festival VIP Bar - Pink Fest VIP Bar - Neighbourgood’s Market in Braamfontein - RoseaFest - Several small, private and corporate events

Working as a stylist at Busani Men meant that we must engage with the customer from the day he/she orders a suit; through the process of tailoring and styling the client and up to the point of delivery of the suit. We introduce the client to the suit, fit and then tailor the suit to make it into one with the client.It is a growing business so more input was required from us beyond just styling. We, along with the big boss, had to develop ways to get the business a bigger a name and increase the brand’s value.
