These projects included the disaster recovery (DR) data center build-out, network (data, voice & video) upgrade, IT Mobility (Citrix, iPad, Smart Phone, PC & Mac) implementations, AS400 CNC Maintenance & Administration RFP and the successful implementation of the Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity (BC) programs. • Disaster Recovery – Developed, implemented, tested and documented DR Data replication recovery strategy. The project effectively moved Westfield from a cold site DR scenario that required a complete rebuild at an alternative site, to a warm site recovery model that utilized active data replication on standby-virtualized systems. • IT Mobility/Citrix Initiative – Developed an on-demand application delivery solution that enabled applications to be virtualized, centralized, managed and delivered as a service to users anywhere on any device.• Network Modernization – Upgraded all network data, voice and video infrastructure nationwide, creating a tightly integrated, fault tolerant network infrastructure capable of supporting all future business and IT initiatives. • Hosting Environment – Planned and implemented Westfield’s DR hosting environment. Including physical & virtualized environments, HP Blades, EMC SAN, NAS, Data Domain, AS400/iCluster and replicated with production. • Business Continuity – Worked with business units to identify risk, develop effective recovery plans, resumption strategies and test scripts. Coordinated all pre and posttest activities required to ensure all corporate departments and participants were prepared to execute the Westfield DR Exercise and participated in post-implementation support.

The program implementation spanned 8 regions and 5 national data centers, 2000 servers, and over 85,000 end-users. The next generation project was a pre-requisite to support Kaiser Permanente's Health Connect 2012 ICD compliance requirements.• Planning, Coordination - Documentation and Metrics - Developed revised project plan, project framework and implementation schedule. Coordinated and socialized project plan with stakeholders, business owners, and project resources. The revise project plan reduced the Citrix footprint by 35%, reduced power consumption by 1843k watts and cut costs by 22%. • Infrastructure Updates - Implementation, coordination and execution of enterprise wide server deployment and network infrastructure upgrades. Environments included upgrades of UNIX and Windows environment and XenApp 6 Citrix environment.• Application Updates – Partnered with business owners, IT operations, application developers and vendors to test, troubleshoot, and update 32-bit native applications to run over the new 64-bit operating system and host environments.

I designed, implemented and managed large scale enterprise wide IT projects, managed a team of LAN Administrators in support of a wide variety of network and enterprise application projects and initiatives. The integration project increased call center productivity by nearly twenty (20) percent, saving the company over five-hundred and sixty thousand (560,000) dollars annually.• Vulnerability Scans - Developed, implemented and managed application and network vulnerability scans and rolled results into the organization's proprietary automated monthly reporting system.• Data Archive Project - Implemented a holistic client-server data archive and vaulting solution that centralized information backup and recovery, established a process for data recovery and reduced storage costs and complexities.

I implemented and managed the organization’s Southern California regional network, application environments and telecommunications systems. I was directly responsible for deployment, upgrades, management and support of Microsoft, Novell, Network and Telephony systems for the Southern California region.• Data Center Conversions - Implemented six (6) Southern California regional data center conversions. The project consolidated multiple legacy sites into six (6) state-of-the-art regional technology centers. The conversions included facilities upgrades, network, phone and applications infrastructure that aligned with corporate standards.• Telecommunication - Responsibilities included 24/7 management and support of all Southern California phone systems, infrastructure and switch programming for one (1) regional business unit, nine (9) medical business units and a small hospital.• IT Administration - Provided network administration, application maintenance and support of a two-thousand (1,000) node regional network.

I developed inspection plans and performed quality assurance certifications to ensure adequate safeguards were met and maintained on aerospace control systems. I developed, implemented and maintained computer aided test programs, provided on-going programming support, documentation and training for the Control System’s quality assurance program. Duties included the development of directed computer controlled coordinate measuring and optical gagging programs for inspection of various flight systems for commercial and military aircraft.
