I am the founder of College Destinations (www.collegedestinations.com). For over twenty years I have worked with thousands of college-bound students of all backgrounds, financial means and abilities. My career includes working at a private nationally-recognized college, a public inner-city high school, and private residential school for students with learning differences. College Destinations provides a complete range of services from the initial college search process to financial aid and the final enrollment steps. I also teach at my alma mater Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester, Massachusetts. Courses taught include Advanced Placement Government & Politics, United States History I & II, Introduction to Law and Introduction to Psychology. Prior to teaching, I worked at Becker College for 16 years. I served in many capacities in the admissions office including six years as the Director of Admissions before becoming the Dean of Admissions. I oversaw all recruitment initiatives for the undergraduate, graduate, transfer and international student populations. During my time at Becker we experienced record-enrollment growth along with substantial increase in retention and graduation rates. Our department expanded the geographic diversity of the incoming classes while consistently increasing the academic quality of the new student population. I also designed and implemented recruitment strategies for the College’s inaugural graduate degree programs. I was a frequent guest lecturer at various professional development workshops and conferences and I continue to assist students with the undergraduate and graduate college search process.
