As the first and only in-house graphic designer for Recology, my role was to streamline the Recology brand by updating the education and outreach collateral for 40 operating companies across California, Oregon, and Washington.Developed templates for printed collateral to streamline large number of design requests, including brochures, postcards, annual service guides, sorting guide posters and flyers, and newsletters.Designed the 40-page Recology 2021 Sustainability Report, including more than 10 infographics to help explain complex recycling and composting processes, amongst other topics. Responsible for animated and static social media graphics for over 20 Facebook pages, three Instagram accounts, three Twitter accounts, and one LinkedIn account. Developed look and feel for month-long social campaigns including Earth Month and Plastic Free July.Built WordPress pages within the larger Recology.com website, including the multi-page Recology Careers and Recology Organics sections. Created graphics for banners and widgets.Created internal communications, including new email signatures with personal pronouns, PowerPoint templates, and informational DE&I flyers for heritage months and holidays.Collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders including Communications Department, DE&I Department, HR Department, Sustainability Department, and Waste Zero Specialists from 40 operating companies.

Design multi-channel marketing assets for UCSF Children’s Trauma Center and Child-Parent Psychotherapy, French Consulate of San Francisco, Novato Children's Dentistry, SF State University, and non-profit French American Cultural Society.Printed assets include 20+ page worksheets in Spanish and English, logos, infographics, brochures, booklets, icon sets, and event materials including invitations, postcards, envelopes, calendars, tote bags and stickers.Digital assets include responsive WordPress and Squarespace websites and Mailchimp newsletter templates.Oversee prepress of print collateral, including preparing files with bleed and trim marks, choosing paper stocks and weights, and printing proofs before packaging and handing off.Project manage and organize budget, timeline and deadlines, client meetings, and streamline processes to ensure efficiency, high quality finished work, and good designer-client relationships.

In a recent paid social campaign, my Facebook ads helped earn a 20 to 1 ROI, becoming one of the company’s most successful campaigns.Designed animated organic Facebook posts and Instagram stories, which helped increase followers from 24,000 to 70,000 in six months, faster than marketing team’s predictions.Collaborated with editorial, marketing, production and merchant teams on a wide array of design projects and initiatives.
