I served as the president of the Ohio Kappa chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. As the president, I act as the leader of the executive council. I deal with the external operations of the fraternity. Some of my responsibilities include proctoring over chapter meetings, working with our alumni, cooperating with the university on various occasions, and working alongside other presidents and leaders on campus as well. Not only do I represent the executive board as the president, but I also represent my fraternity as a whole. Being the president has allowed me to truly flourish as a leader, and understand what it means to represent a group in its entirety.

For a short period of time, I acted as the vice president for my fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. During this time I led a cabinet consisting of five different chairmen. As the Deputy Archon, I dealt with the internal affairs of the chapter. I often acted as a prosecutor during any standard's board hearings, or chapter trials. I also acted as a surrogate between my chapter and the Interfraternity Council as a whole. In addition to those responsibilities. The role of the vice president gave me the skills and knowledge necessary to manage a team of various people with different positions in the chapter.

During my time as the treasurer for my fraternity, I oversaw the financial responsibilities of the chapter. I dealt with creating budget plans for all the positions, as well as keeping track of our bank accounts. I also utilized the Legacy Financial software to properly manage all financial obligations of our members. Being the treasurer allowed me to understand how to balance a budget, and maintain a firm understanding of monetary policies.

When I first joined the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Bowling Green State University, I was elected as the Eminent Recorder of the chapter. Essentially I acted as the secretary for the chapter. I kept detailed notes of all our chapter meetings, as well as ensuring those notes were sent out to active brothers, as well as alumni. I also oversaw attendance for all chapter meetings. As the recorder, I learned how to work with a team, providing my own insight into the executive council.
