Development opportunity which used SME knowledge to support the creation of key PowerApps and critical data analysis.Key Projects:Lateral Flow Testing App:• Technical lead responsible for the development, testing and implementation of an app to gather COVID-19 Lateral Flow Device results. • Data from the app was used to deliver daily analysis via a dashboard to HR and Senior Management and to feedback critical data to Public Health England.• Liaised across multiple stakeholders in order to roll out the app for use by external parties (unprecedented within the organisation). This included resolving complex challenges in short timescales (e.g. adapting IT infrastructure and ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations).• Supported the customer throughout to ensure the app met their needs, facilitating time critical updates to code once the app was live. • Supported and delegated to junior colleagues throughout the project to ensure delivery to time, quality and cost. • Developed best practice guidelines for app creation within the team.• Liaised with colleagues to scope and define requirements for the reporting dashboard (e.g. providing structure and KPI definitions).COVID-19 Tactical Cell Support:• Analyst responsible for gathering data to accurately track the number of new COVID-19 cases within SCAS and resulting changes in resourcing/demand.• Provided analysis of data which highlighted key areas of current demand and forecasts for future hotspots.• Presented results daily to senior management to support and influence critical short-term decision making.• Co-ordinated and shared results with multiple stakeholders, including external agencies (e.g. other blue light services, local government and health partners).
