With over 16 years of experience in education, I am passionate about supporting teachers and school leaders to thrive and create positive change. As the Deputy Director of The Teaching Well, I lead the strategic planning, operations, development, and evaluation of our organization, which provides holistic and sustainable professional development and wellness programs to educators in high-need schools. I bring my skills and expertise in leadership, research, nonprofit management, and urban education to this role, as well as my previous experience as a principal, assistant principal, teacher, and fellow at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy and Teach+. My mission is to empower educators to foster equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environments for all students, and to promote the well-being and retention of the education workforce.
