CLPP inspires, educates, trains, and supports new activists and leadership to secure reproductive and sexual rights, freedom, and justice for everyone. My work at CLPP shifted to include managing local and state initiatives, campus programming, the Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corp (RRASC) program, and the New Leadership Networking Initiative (NLNI).

My work at CLPP includes managing the Reproductive Rights Activist Service Corp (RRASC) program and supervising the New Leadership Networking Initiative (NLNI) and Summer Leadership Institute.

PBP supported, encouraged, and trained currently and formerly incarcerated mothers and trans* parents to become community leaders within a reproductive justice framework from 2008 to 2017. We provided trauma-informed doula care, childbirth education classes, family-centered advocacy, a peer support group, and a vehicle for member-led organizing.

MOCAI was a black woman led community organization that brought together families raising children of color. The directors created a welcoming space for transracial adopting, single, and multiracial families to find and build support and connection within a predominantly white community. We provided a healthy snack, a craft, and a story written by a person of color. Parents used the space to talk about raising children of color both within the local and national perspectives and black and brown children played exclusively with black and brown children.

• Led an undergraduate discussion section of 30 first and second year students enrolled in a diversity course• Encouraged and facilitated an interactive and respectful discussion on socially and/or politically charged topics• Coached and mentored students that needed extra writing support• Served as course manager for the Spring 2008 semester due to unexpected instructor absence• Developed teaching materials such as lesson plans, visual aids, weekly reading quizzes, and weekly reflection questions in accordance with lecture material• Evaluated assignments and papers, recorded grades, and returned assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines• Created and managed course website through university-sponsored online learning management system, Spark• Organized teaching team of five graduate students and course instructor to evaluate and revise course syllabus for Spring 2008 • Attended weekly instructor lectures

• Provided support services and mentored undergraduate students representing diverse ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds• Aided the Director with the assessment of the ALANA (African, Latino, Asian, Native American) support centers and services to determine the areas for improvement• Created assessment instruments such as protocol, questions for focus groups, and staff and student program evaluation forms• Coordinated the Spring 2007 Academic Experiences online student survey• Wrote an executive summary of key findings from the 2007 Academic Experiences survey for the final report submitted to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs• Supervised and coached 6-8 undergraduate student staff and office volunteers• Represented the office at various on-campus recruitment events, off-campus outreach events, and other university programs and meetings

• Gained an understanding of the roles and functions of violence prevention educators and advocates and the issues that the professional and volunteer staff members confront• Assisted in the redesign of the Educator Advocate training curriculum and corresponding manual• Co-taught class sessions and participated in coaching/evaluation discussions• Encouraged dialogue on difficult material and connected students to resources available to promote better understanding• Worked individually with students who needed extra assistance

• Managed the recruitment and application processes for students from my pre-assigned geographical territories• Reviewed approximately 750 first-year and transfer application files• Recruited applicants that resulted in an ethnically and racially diversified student body• Counseled prospective transfer students on transfer policies and procedures creating an individual plan to improve their competitive and academic standing• Interviewed prospective first-year students and evaluated their credentials against curricular and co-curricular requirements to ensure a strong match • Facilitated information sessions about the university and local area for prospective students and their families• Planned and attended off-campus Admissions receptions for admitted applicants• Oversaw outreach programming for Trio programs and private groups• Created and actively managed the first annual, week-long summer pre-college enrichment program for high school students with underrepresented identities
