I have been a senior executive for over 20 years and most recently served as the CEO of two different public companies. At the end of 2017, I lead the sale of Landauer to a strategic buyer and now I am looking for my next opportunity in public or private equity. My professional foundation of knowledge comes from a history of climbing the corporate ladder rung by rung. Gaining skills in virtually every organizational function from operations to marketing and sales to HR, I have established strategies for new companies, implemented lean processes for those in hyper growth mode and reenergized mature organizations. I have been involved in every business phase from start-up to generating-billions and understand the challenges that occur in every phase. This in-depth perspective of organizational processes and success has allowed me to understand the skill and motivations needed at all levels, stretch functional goals, acquire top talent and energize leadership. In other words, when you know how to drive sales or implement lean processes, it makes it much easier to lead others to do the same. I manage a company to the level it is capable of based on the potential of its people and processes. Although I have spent a majority of my career in the healthcare and industrial science industries, I believe this business formula is transferrable to a broad number of industries. As a public company CEO, I have been on two public boards as well as serving on two not-for-profit boards. I feel that I am up-to-date on board challenges and would welcome the opportunity to serve as an independent director. I’m interested in both manufacturing and service companies which have less than $1B in revenue, strong EBITDA and need a dynamic leader who can energize the growth initiatives.
