In my position as a multimedia designer, I was responsible for concept designing and developing (Flash/ActionScript + Socket/XML, and Java/J2EE) a virtual collaboration platform Glow for Joensuu Science Park and its supporting multimedia installations (ubiquitous computing). The project—with its touch-screen displays, RFID technology, directional loudspeakers, and real-time communication software—was ahead of its time, and received MindTrek Grand Prix Award in 2007.

I was responsible for running weekly lab classes, instructing students with their programming exercises, and grading their works. In addition, I designed and implemented a database + graphical user interface exercise for 300+ students.
