Responsible for all aspects of the New Jersey Governor’s official residence which is a multifunctional property serving as a state park, historic house museum and official residence for the Governor and First Family.Specific day-to-day responsibilities include budget management, property maintenance, long term capital planning and human resource management. Develops and implements standard operating procedures and policies with the New Jersey Governor’s Office, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Drumthwacket Foundation. Facilitates and fulfills the Governor and First Family’s hospitality needs and expectations which include hosting official meetings, large receptions, large dinner parties and other celebrations and functions. Responsible for overall visitor experience on behalf of the Governor and First Family to fellow state employees, the Drumthwacket Foundation and the public, requiring extensive knowledge and demonstration of diplomacy and protocol.
