Managed sales territory that stretched from Port Hope to the Quebec border. Built B2B relationships within the beverage alcohol sector, focusing on retail and hospitality partners. Can confirm the roads less travelled lead to the best places.

Contracted by companies including: Telus, Staples, and Waterloo Brewing company to promote and sell products, and provide in store support for company sales initiatives. I was tasked to create buzz, engage customers in two-way conversation, support sales team, and create positive brand impressions. Professionalism was critical as I represented brands and was communicating their company values. This meant engaging customers in a polite and respectful manner. Active listening was important as it allowed me to qualify customers, and address objections. After submitting my final report, I was informed I had exceeded all targets and fulfilled all objectives during all promotions.

I worked under contract to help the claims department reduce their claim turnover time. I provided customer service to insurers and service providers by ensuring the accuracy of information, sending out correspondence, and paying claims. Often I was called upon to assist in the administration of daily office tasks.

I coordinated all shipping and receiving in and out of the Kingston and the Islands Electoral District office. My responsible included organizing thousands of pieces of electoral materials, organizing all invoices, writing reports, problem solving, preparing election materials, ensuring compliance with the Elections Canada Act (S.C 2000, c.9), and shipping all materials back to Ottawa upon completion of my duties. While providing support to other Elections Canada employees, I was able to reduce stress in the workplace, and ensure a smooth election in Kingston.

Working in the highly energized and fast paced competitive hockey market, I energize hockey fans during OHL games. I am responsible for editing instant replays and using the Jumbo Tron to ensure crowd participation and a positive hockey experience. Enhancing the operating system, I was able to initiate a new platform that resulted in increased performance and efficiency.

As an active member of the Student Association Board of Directors, I was responsible for being an advocate for students at St Lawrence College. I was entrusted with representing their interests, and acting on behalf of the student body as a whole. My job was to ensure that students were healthy both in mind and body, and aimed to ensure students had the best possible learning experience while attending college. I had the privilege of being chair of the Inaugural Ownership Linkage Committee which is responsible for student engagement, data collection and application of quantitative and qualitative feedback. This market research was gathered through first person student interaction, focus groups, and the use of surveys. The information was used to instruct and direct the board on future projects and allocation of resources. In April of 2014 I was selected by my fellow board members to represent the board as Chair. I received training from CMR Governance Consulting, a leader in governance training for not-for-profits. During my time as chair, I was able to grow as a team leader, and develop governance policies that positively impacted the Student Association, and student body at St Lawrence College as a whole.

I trained staff on various techniques to ensure minimized potential for harm to client. I maintained records while distributing medications resulting in strong accountability and client safety. I gained valuable experience working in an ever-changing environment that allowed the application of many different skills to improve employee productivity, and the clients quality of living.

During my time at Extend a Family, I had the privilege of serving the Kingston Community. I worked with adults and children with developmental disabilities, and was committed to improving the quality of life for our clients. I developed programs that included a music program focused on building instruments. As a group leader I was responsible for planning and implementing various events, and activities within the community.
