Mr. Piché-Messier has worked on the preparation and enforcement of trials, seizures, injunctions and Anton Piller orders, as representative of the plaintiff and as independent supervisor sollicitor for several Canadian law firms, in civil and commercial law, and particularly in commercial fraud, anti-counterfeiting and intellectual property enforcement litigation, privacy, high technology and industrial espionage. CAIJ is an organization related to the Québec Bar. With more then 60 employees, it is the largest supplier of legal information in Québec and ranks among the largest in North America. Its mission is to make legal information available, with priority given to the members of the Québec Bar and Judiciary, and to ensure that access is the same regardless of geographical location or work environment. Its challenge is to reduce the time, effort and cost related to the practice of law. First and foremost, CAIJ serves members of the Québec Bar and Judiciary. President and Chairman of the board.Founded in 1898, the Young Bar Association of Montreal (YBAM) represents more than 4200 lawyers with 10 years or less of practice, registered in the Montreal area. These young lawyers work in all existing fields of law where they leave their mark on the professional scene. They are the profession’s succession, both on a national and international scale. Influent as a group, engaged in their community, they are called upon to be society’s leaders within the best law firms, private enterprises, institutions and public organizations.The YBAM is run by a board of directors made up of 15 volunteer lawyers who ensure that its goals are met. Its mission is twofold. First, the YBAM seeks to defend and to promote its members’ interests.
