•Collected, analyzed, evaluated, and interpreted textural, mineralogical, and geochemical data for hundreds of solid and liquid geological samples while managing 3 research projectsSYSTEMIZATION, LABORATORY PROCEDURES•Independently conducted over 1000 hours of nitrogen isotope analyses of 71 natural Earth materials using gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-IRMS)•Prepared hundreds of geological/hydrothermal samples for physical and geochemical characterization (e.g., optical microscopy, SEM, XRD, XRF, SIMS, GS-IRMS, IC, ICP-MS)ORGANIZATION, WORK-ETHIC, LEGAL AND REGULATORY, LABORATORY PROCEDURES•Sorted, catalogued, and processed 147 high-temperature hydrothermal vent fluid fractions resulting in mathematically reconstituted fluid chemistries for 23 vents and their modelled in-situ chemical speciation (using EQ3/6)CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION•Communicated research plans/updates, laboratory results, and analytical issues, with a diverse group of scientists/technicians/students to complete 2500+ hours of independent and collaborative/team analytical geochemistry lab workCOMMUNICATION, WRITING, INFORMATION MANAGEMENNT• Published 2 first author research articles in 2 peer-reviewed scientific journals and gave 10 research presentations at 3 international conferences and departmental and public seminarsPROPOSAL WRITING•Developed and wrote 10 research proposals securing $12,000 in funding
