My main interests are projects where regenerative thinking drives the value our growing human communities need to become more inclusive, reconnect with nature and thrive in the long term. I like to keep things simple, but I also have a particular affinity for complexity and for projects where biophilia, biomimicry, permaculture, latinoamerican cosmovision and the whole-systems thinking approach [ = NATURE ] can be integrated as framework (s) for the promotion of healthier future living places.I worked for 10 years at Gensler, the leading global firm in architecture, design and planning, where I served as design manager at their Costa Rica and Australia offices. At the end of 2022 I worked at the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction drafting their new NextGen Accelerator program.I'm a registered architect holding my degree with a focus in tropical climate from the Universidad de Costa Rica. I am also a Living Future Accredited Professional from the International Living Future Institute, co-creator at the first ever Biophilic Society Locus, Certified Biomimicry Practitioner, Permaculture Designer and recently I became Certified TetraMap Facilitator.My Gallup CliftonStrenghts are: Learner, Restorative, Input, Connectedness and Responsability.I contribute to companies as a freelance designer with my ability to shape creative ideas and engaging experiences, streamline complex change processes and to promote team effectiveness by leading with compassion, authenticity and dedication. I do this by designing visual graphics and communication tools, co-creating experience-based learning programs and co-facilitating workshops through my emergent professional practice called living.structur.es Curious?
