Mathijs Post is a devoted project and communications manager with a passion for (online) marketing, creative design and branding. Which I all embrace in my current position at Volta.The skills, accomplishments, and experiences that I have gained over the years have brought me to perceive myself as a creative, young professional with an entrepreneurial and international-oriented mindset.My passion for marketing started during my bachelor studies in Business Administration in Leisure. This in-depth education focused on management studies with strong concentrations in brand-building, concept development, project management, and creating value-based experiences for consumers. Through my experience as a marketing intern for the Sydney Film Festival and as the Marketing Officer of KU Leuven Model United Nations N.P.O. (KULMUN), I have been able to put my aspirations into practice.In my Master in Anthropology, I focused on human behaviour in societies. This anthropological background enables me to gain better understanding of customs and behaviours in a globalizing context in order to cater to the needs and demands of a cross-cultural, global, local, and “glocal” market audience.During my time as Lecturer at NHTV as well as in subsequent work, I mastered the use of extensive databases, SPSS, Microsoft Office (excellent skills in Excel), Adobe, SEO & SEA, etc. As co-founder and former President of KULMUN, I was known for being a highly skilled project manager with a great sense for team play.As a professional communications officer at De Federatie sociaal-cultureel werk (lobby organization on behalf of social work) I worked on multidisciplinary projects, involving graphic design, e-news, as well as print communication.
