Matthew Ramsey is an attorney at Wessels & Gerber, P.C. servicing clients in the greater Atlanta area and throughout the state of Georgia. Matthew handles all aspects of real estate law including closings, probate matters, tax sales, foreclosures, and various title issues. Matthew also has extensive experience representing injured people in a wide variety of cases including car accidents, premises liability, workers'​ compensation, commercial trucking accidents, and other bodily injury claims. He also handles simple wills, trusts, and business formation, and drafts contracts and service agreements for small and medium-sized business.Before joining Wessels & Gerber, Matthew practiced represented injured persons at LawSmith Attorneys in Tucker, GA. He also was an associate attorney at the Atlanta law firm of Drew, Eckl & Farnham, where he defended a broad range of personal injury cases and also assisted insurance companies regarding coverage matters.Matthew graduated from the University of Georgia in 2004 with a B.A. in Political Science. He then graduated Cum Laude from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2010, where he was a member of Moot Court and the Student Trial Lawyer's Association. While at Georgia State, Matthew won First Place and the Best Oralist Award at the national Prince Evidence Competition in New York City, where he argued in front of judges from the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals, and New York Court of Appeals. Matthew also earned Third Place in the Keenan Kids'​ Foundation's state-wide closing argument competition in 2009.
