Health Cloud Initiative (HCI) is a rapidly growing SaaS company active in the healthcare space. We deliver EMR software solutions across several care areas which aim to unburden care providers and facilitate optimal interaction with patients via best practice sharing and the addition of eHealth and patient portal solutions. Quin is a leading digital platform supporting care professionals to optimize workflows, patient communication and medical diagnosis. Current focus is the Netherlands but other countries will soon follow. In the Netherlands Quin works with 100+ employees to develop and roll out its platform. Quin operates a SaaS license model paid for by medical practices and health insurers. As COO I was responsible for global business operations with primary focus on commercial, partnership, stakeholder management and customer success functions. My responsibilities also included the international roll out on both strategic and execution level. Additionally, I was part of the Executive Management Team member and Board meeting participant.

AniCura is a subsidiary of Mars Petcare active in veterinary care.As managing director of AniCura’s Dutch operations I was responsible for the creation of an impressive platform where >1.400 dedicated employees work in >100 locations supported by a great central team to Create a Better World for Pets. During the past years AniCura NL consistently grew its revenues both organically (comparable growth >10% pa) and via acquisitions whilst further improving quality of care, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Within the AniCura Group, AniCura NL had a leading role in implementing several new operational and commercial excellence projects.

AN Direct (AND) is a subsidiary of HAL investments (www.halinvestments.nl) active in Direct to Consumer (D2C) retail of hearing aids in the USA. As executive board member of AN Direct I had several leadership roles leading to the establishment of a successful sales and product platform in the USA.

Bergman Clinics (www.bergmanclinics.nl) is a rapidly growing, privately held chain of focus clinics aimed at providing focused, high quality healthcare. Bergman Clinics is active in movement care, eye care, cosmetics & skin, women’s care and internal care.I started as statutory managing director of the division movement care. Shortly afterwards the division Cosmetics & Skin was added to my responsibilities.

AudioNova Denmark (www.audionova.dk) is a hearing aid retail company in Denmark. In 2013 ANDK operated >45 stores with yearly sales of >EUR 20mln. ANDK grew substantially between 2009 and 2013 via like for like growth, acquisitions and store openings. AudioNova Denmark is part of AudioNova International (www.audionova.com) a full subsidiary of HAL investments.I started with ANDK in 2009 as CCO and was promoted to CEO in 2011.

As head of business development, I was part of AudioNova International’s executive team. My team supported country management in their growth efforts (positioning, marketing, operations, store network). I also carried out ad hoc interim management assignments, e.g. interim CMO Germany. Additionally, I was non-executive board member of AudioNova Denmark.

Knowledgestorm Europe was the largest launch in the European Business Media Division (BME) in 2006. It was the most important initiative to implement innovative, web based, business models in BME’s IT B2B vertical in Europe. After a successful launch, the initiative was stopped in March 2007 as a result of the divestment of the European Business Media Division. As Business Unit Director I had full P&L responsibility for Knowledgestorm Europe

The Corporate development team reported directly to the executive board (based in NYC) and was responsible for managing strategic projects and M&A on a corporate and group level.

I worked in several industries (e.g. consumer electronics, retail banking, automotive, retail) and in several functional areas (e.g. pricing, sales force optimization, marketing, organisational restructuring, post-merger integration, strategy). In all my projects, I managed several client team members and BCG resources.
