Member Of The Catena-X Pcf Rulebook-TeamIpoint Systems Gmbh Contracted By Basf Se Nov 2021 - Jul 2024The Catena-X PCF Rulebook-Team was formed of LCA/PCF experts from companies participating in the publicly co-funded CATENA-X Consortium. BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Bosch, ZF, Henkel and BASF have been actively involved in creating, and updating the Catena-X PCF Roolbook. BASF has contracted me as senior LCA and standardization expert to bring BASF's perspectives and positions related to PCF methodology to this team. During its operation the Catena-X PCF Rulebook Team did also collect feedback from external stakeholders, from the wider community of Catena-X Association members, and seek alignment with other initiatives like WCSD PACT, Together for Sustainability (TFS), Global Battery Alliance (GBA), worldsteel and others. In August 2024 Version 3 of the Catena-XPCF Rulebook has been published and the PCFRulebook Team has formally handed over their work to the PCF Methodology and Verification Goverance Group hosted by the Catena-X Association. The newly formed group will take care of the further development and aligments across industries relevant for the automotive supply chain.
