I've been an architect at Red Hat since 2008 and I've helped many Fortune 500 companies adopt Open Source software over the years. We've worked together through UNIX to Linux migrations, data center to cloud migrations, and now container adoption across the banking, healthcare, transportation, hospitality and manufacturing industries. I currently lead a team of OpenShift Architects who are focused on Enterprise adoption of Kubernetes across the Eastern United States. We guide our clients through the design process for deploying and managing containers on everything from the cloud to the data center to the edge.

Designed and implemented cost­effective IT solutions to match the needs of small and medium-sized organizations. Provided on­going support for these solutions and support for organizations' existing infrastructure on all three tiers. Responsibilities included researching, testing, and implementing open source solutions on Mac OS X and Linux platforms.

Provided a complete IT solution to a department of over 70 faculty and staff and over 400 students, including consulting, three tiers of support, and application development. Responsibilities included the maintenance of web, mail, file, print, directory, and database services. Managed 3 public access labs and 13 employees.

Administered over 100 UNIX and Linux servers with over 50,000 users in a production, 100% uptime environment, working on a five member team. Responsibilities included performance tuning, backups, hardware and software upgrades, security, patching, scripting, development, installation of systems, documentation, tier two support and training for campus systems administrators, troubleshooting tier one client issues.
