As the Founding Director and Physiotherapist of MD Physiotherapy, I offer a range of services for the prevention, treatment and management of various injuries and neuromuscular skeletal conditions. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I have developed a strong expertise in sports and work injury rehabilitation, dry needling, manual therapy, headache and sinus treatments, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, among others. I have also gained experience in physical rehabilitation of patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and medically complex and debilitating conditions, as a Locum Physiotherapist at Life Riverfield Lodge Rehabilitation.In addition, I am pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Leadership at Wits Business School, where I am learning how to apply business management principles and strategic leadership skills to the healthcare sector. My goal is to enhance my skills in strategic planning, financial management, quality improvement, and innovation, and to contribute to the development of accessible, affordable, and effective healthcare services in South Africa. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities, and I believe that physiotherapy and healthcare leadership are complementary and synergistic fields that can make a positive impact.
