Mike Putnam is an experienced leader in consumer services and mobile, having led mobile product at TripAdvisor and Rue La La and consumer marketing at Amwell, a leader in telehealth that went public at the height of the pandemic in 2020. He is currently focused on climate change -- it is here now and we must act!Mike is an active investor and advisor in startups, having most recently helped Future, a Boston TechStars graduate, get their growth and product teams up and running.At Amwell, Mike founded and built the consumer marketing team, driving 135% average annual growth in doctor visits for six years, partnering with key industry leaders including The Cleveland Clinic, Intermountain Healthcare, Anthem, Baptist Health South Florida, Apple, Google, Samsung and many others. Mike was a founder of the mobile program at TripAdvisor where he drove rapid growth, from 1M unique visitors in January 2010, to more than 20M in Q1 2012. Much of this traffic was from apps, with TripAdvisor announcing the 15M app download milestone in February 2012.Before joining TripAdvisor, Mike founded Zeer, the easy way to find better food. Zeer was named a Top 50 website in 2008 by Time.com, won the inaugural Inbound Marketing Award from Hubspot, and launched its first iPhone application in April 2009.In his earlier career Mike held roles leading product development, marketing, eCommerce and strategy, ranging from directing eBusiness programs for a global manufacturing company to working as an eCommerce analyst at Forrester Research. As an MBA intern, Mike worked in product management at Amazon.com.Mike holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and a BS from Stanford.
