Since graduating with Honours and Clinical Distinction from Birmingham Dental School in 2012 I have worked in mixed dental practices across Birmingham.In 2018 I successfully completed the prestigious Diploma in Restorative Dentistry awarded by the Faculty of General Dental Practice and Royal College of Surgeons (England). I am now a tutor on the College of General Dentistry’s (CGDent) restorative and aesthetic dentistry certificate and diploma course. Now I receive and provide in-house referrals for more complex restorative treatments including endodontic treatments, complex fixed and removal prosthodontics and tooth wear rehabilitation cases.I completed my MSc in Advanced Dental Clinical Practice with a distinction awarded by the University of Kent. I have two articles accepted for publication in the British Dental Journal from my MSc research project which involved an internet mediated investigation into the clinical applications of rubber dam isolation by GDPs within the UK. I also have publications accepted in Primary Dental Journal, Dental Update, International Journal on Oral Heath and published in The Dentistry Magazine.I have completed hands on training in dental implantology with experience in placement and restoration. I enjoy all aspects of restorative dentistry but my main focus is endodontics and full mouth reconstructions having invested heavily in magnification, ultrasonic and obturation equipment as well as facebow and an semi adjustable articulator. I am a keen academic and have peer reviewed articles for publication in BDJ Open, The Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dental Research and also The Primary Dental Journal. I have now started my MSc in Clinical Implantology at UCLan in association with VSS Academy which I hope will cement my skills as a restorative dentist. Furthermore, I now teach on the undergraduate clinical practice and endodontic clinics at the University of Birmingham’s Dental School.
