In my current role, I serve as a trusted advisor to a diversified portfolio of institutional and multinational clients, with a particular emphasis on the infrastructure sector. I guide clients through bespoke financial solutions and complex transactions. I am responsible for driving client origination and providing strategic insights that align with their goals. Additionally, I play a key role in internal projects, managing client transitions and ensuring the seamless integration of institutional products and services.

Managed a diverse portfolio of 35 corporate and multinational clients, focusing on strategic origination and cross-selling. I successfully secured significant term debt opportunities and established a Centre of Excellence for cross-border clients, enhancing our service delivery and client engagement.

The ANZ International Business team specialises in providing cross-border banking solutions to multinational corporations with with debt levels up to NZD $50m. During my time in this role I developed a specialised international business skill set and grew my network through ANZ’s global reach. The key responsibilities associated with this role were as follows:• Accountable for the performance of a client portfolio made up of 65 corporate groups, including asset/ liability/ revenue growth, credit risk, operational risk, customer satisfaction ratings and staff performance.• Managed a team member aligned with my client portfolio. This included taking responsibility for their performance, training and career development.• Responsible for initial assessment of all inbound corporate and commercial banking internal global referrals.• Responsible for providing guidance to the wider corporate and commercial team on cross-border transactions, including structuring, pricing and international security documentation.• Development and maintenance of a network of external business partners with a focus on driving new to bank referral business.• Monitoring client performance and restructuring underperforming client groups.

I joined the ANZ Auckland CBD Commercial Banking team in 2016, supporting a Relationship Manager with a portfolio of 50 commercial clients with turnover up to $100 million. I was twice appointed as relief Relationship Manager standing in this role for 2-3 months at a time. The key responsibilities associated with this role were as follows:• Supporting Relationship Manager in achieving all KPI’s with a specific focus on originating transactions / on-boarding new clients.• All aspects of credit analysis including preparing, structuring and presenting credit submissions including MBO’s, new lending applications and annual/ interim reviews.• All aspects of financial statement analysis.• Collaborating with internal and external specialists including advisory and solicitors to deliver tailored financial solutions.• Monitoring client performance and restructuring underperforming client groups.

Responsible for managing creditors, negotiating asset sales and the preparation of statutory reporting across a range of formal insolvency procedures - liquidations, receiverships and voluntary arrangements.Developed excellent conflict resolution, negotiation and stakeholder management skills - particularly in high pressure, high stakes situations.

Responsible for completing audit procedures and other assurance services across a diverse range of industries for private, not-for-profit and public sector organisations.Critical analysis of financial statements and business processes.Developed excellent analytical and problem solving skills, particularly where problems are often dynamic and a significant amount of judgment is required.

Responsible for the preparation of financial & management reporting, tax planning & compliance, as well as the implementation of accounting software for businesses predominantly in the health sector.
