Developer of private Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) in the UKCrosslane has delivered 2,351 PBSA beds in the UK since 2008Crosslane identifies the most attractive PBSA site locations through thorough research & analysis to pinpoint optimum site selection, designs properties of a size that drive strong yields whilst meeting student needs, obtains planning permission, acquires land, negotiates development debt, through strong relationships with contractor partners develops assets, obtains investment debt & secures exits for completed assets. Crosslane has developed 1,041 beds of new PBSA assets for the Victus European Student Accommodation Fund (VESAF) which became operational in 2014 and 2015 and has sold developments to major market players such as Unite and Knightsbridge (now 360) and has identified a further 1,143 beds in its UK development pipeline to be forward funded, with assets becoming operational in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Initial strategy to penetrate the market and gain scale quickly was to identify current operating PBSA assets that required refurbishment or conversions, whilst identifying future sites for new build developments that have a longer end-to-end delivery timescale
