Responsible for everything data; vendor agreements, data pipelines, DWH-structure, analytics, BI-layer, ML and MLOps, as well as recruiting and mentoring the team.Working cross-functionally with both the engineering team and business stakeholders, we make sure to deliver high impact production-ready data products, weather it being BI-dashboards or ML-solutions. Led the data science team (3 people). Use-cases for in-house ML-based solutions involved; customer insights & segmentation, CLV-predictions, attribution modelling, recommender systems, search & ranking, demand predictions as well as intelligent pricing. The underlying tech-stack and infrastructure for the above use-cases must support a customer base in the millions, as well as a product catalog of 100k+ SKU's. In order to support such a wide range of large scale use-cases, the underlying tech-stack and infrastructure used was a combination of Kubernetes & Serverless hosted on GCP, with emphasis on containerisation. More specifically a combination of Kubeflow Pipelines (ML-pipelines running on Kubernetes), Cloud Run (serverless REST API’s), Cloud Functions (serverless jobs) as well as Vertex AI (distributed hyper-parameter tuning). The data underlying of it all lived in Snowflake, using a ELT approach, leveraging Fivetran & dbt.

Analyzing Blood Glucose Changes - A multi-state Markov model was developed in order to model glycemic control in diabetic patients, based on continuous glucose measurements. Contributed as a part of a larger research project, with the end goal of assisting patients with improving their glycemic control.

I worked as a data scientist at Centiro Solutions, alongside their R&D team, developing Centiros' data handling capabilities enabling analytics. The experience working closely with the data infrastructure made me realize the value of high quality data. In order to achieve this I helped develop a data pipeline using Apache Beam, Kotlin and Google Cloud Platform's different services such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Storage and PubSub. This pipeline then parsed, mapped, stored and analyzed the data. This with the underlying understanding that data is valuable and we need to use this to our advantage.
