As an former member of Camp Icthus’ Committee of Management I was responsible for the governance, programs and structure of the organisation. As a not-for-profit enterprise, ‘Icthus’ facilitates adventure camping programs for disadvantaged children from Victoria, Australia. Icthus works with The Department of Health & Human Services, The Asylum Seeker’s Resource Centre, The Mirabel Foundation, and other small charitable groups to improve the lives of young people. “Camp Icthus exists to positively influence the lives of young people. We achieve this by creating a place of acceptance, belonging and community. We build confidence and self esteem through shared experiences and challenge boundaries within a safe space and natural environment.

In my role as Creative Coordinator I work with the Director and other staff to help build and maintain an image, engage the community and sell products. Interact with clients, external parties and staff to create opportunities and implement strategies. Analyse trends and look for innovations to sustain and build the business.Gallery: Liaise with artists to obtain and implement exhibition and associated opportunities. Work with artists to display and promote work and brief internal staff on schedule and details of work. Communicate, promote and review exhibition through regular business channels.Events: Liaise with external parties to obtain and implement event opportunities. Work with parties to organise and stage events and brief internal staff on schedule and details of events. Communicate, promote and review events through regular business channels.Social Media: Plan, implement and monitor the business’s social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing and promotional efforts and increase sales.Merchandising: Optimise sales by ensuring the business is stocked with appropriate products and corresponding quantities in consultation with the Director. Arrange and maintain product displays, price products and monitor store inventory.

As Guest Services Supervisor, I was the front-line face of the business. In a multi-million dollar Winery and Sculpture Park, I was responsible for assisting the General Manager in welcoming, coordinating and directing guests. Acting as the face of Pt. Leo, I was the ambassador for the Pt Leo Brand - promoting the region, hero local producers and taking pride in the Mornington Peninsula.

As Director for Lisle and Sons Pty Ltd, (trading as) Felix Unique Antique Boutique, I oversaw all aspects of the business; from day to day running to short term and long term planning. I was responsible for sourcing suppliers locally and nationally, rosters, and budgeting along with daily administration duties. As a retail store with a 50-seat cafe, Felix was a booming local destination and tourist favourite.

As the National Visual Merchandiser I was responsible for 11 stores in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. As the company was expanding, my role involved maintaining store presentation, opening new stores and creating a 'Style Guide' to achieve uniform in-store displays.
