Leading the IT and TEL teams at the college, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and making improvements to employees' and students' working environments and processes through the application of technology. * Maintaining and continuously improving the college's learning technology applications, platforms and communications systems.* Managing projects relating to the college's websites, communications and ICT systems using a combination of Prince2 methodology for core project documentation and Agile or work packages and task lists.* Reporting back on various aspects of the college's technologies and IT systems' performance to relevant committees as a member of the college's Management Team Advisory Group.* Leading the college's Technology Enhanced Learning team to research, develop, test and and apply new technologies where appropriate, in accordance with the Change Management processes I established.* Managing the college's on-site and AWS infrastructure, e.g. EC2 Linux and Windows servers, S3, Route53 DNS, ELB for scalability.* Managing the college's Google Apps / Workspace for Education infrastructure (Students'; Staff and Tutors' accounts.)* Monitoring and maintaining the college's Adword campaigns to ensure maximum ROI and optimum CPA.* Monitoring traffic to, from, and within the college's websites to determine where improvements can be made to the sites themselves, or via advertising campaigns.* Managing the college's Social Network accounts and monitoring the relevant social metrics.

In this role, I managed the college's on-site servers, AWS architecture and online services and applications. In addition to these technical responsibilities, I line managed a team of designer/media producers, whose roles encompassed responsibilities ranging from digital content creation, management of online platforms, and design of learning materials and resources.Towards the latter stages of this role, I worked on projects aimed at updating the college's approach to learning technologies. This involved depoying a series of open source LMS/VLE development environments through our AWS infrastructure in order to trial and pilot a range of applications and related services. One organisational change outcome of this work was for me to re-position my team and its focus away from a broad technology and media production remit, to one more tightly defined in relation to learning technologies.

In the role of Digital Marketing Executive at the Open College of the Arts, I devised digital marketing strategies that combined SEO and CRO methods with CPC and social channels. Through my diligent management of the college’s digital content, email and adwords campaigns, I increased unique visitors to the college’s primary website by 70% over a twelve month period (from 15,500 to 26,400 between 2015/16) and pushed the college into previously untapped overseas markets such as India (increasing traffic by 400% between 2015/16, from an average of 2K/month to 9.8K/month). After taking over the management of the college’s Adwords campaigns, I increased conversion to degree enquiry rates by 550% (from an average of 14 conversions/month to 91.), and increased conversion to paid-enrolments by 677% for the month of Sept (9 in ‘15 to 70 in ‘16.)

Managed the OCA's website code and content, email facilities and online accounts. I also provided support for the MA Fine Art environment, which I initially built in a Moodle LMS before migrating it and its content to a custom made LMS which I also designed and built. I was also support-provider for the MA's regular Google Hangout-based video group-crit sessions.I designed, launched and managed a blog (The Freeman View, no longer running) for the world's best-selling photography book author Michael Freeman, which was home to interviews with world-famous photographers such as Brian Harris, Romano Cagnoni and Mike Yamashita, as well as tutorial and theory articles by Michael himself.
