Currently I am a senior product security engineer at a fortune 1000 company spending my time designing and coding an operations based security cli toolbox, with my team, around (SAST/SCA/IAC/Discovery) in python, setting up pipelines, working with docker, and using linux (Arch, Alpine, Ubuntu). More recently I am working on designing a new architecture for our security tooling. My team and I work with development teams to assist in onboarding, closing flaws or provide tuning/mitigation strategies. In the past I've written technical documentation, custom bash/python scripts for connected vehicle projects and a little bit of Java. I've performed QA testing on IoT systems, software deployments and websites. I've also worked with SVN, GIT, Gitlab, Nginx, Jenkins and Azure Devops. I've dabbled in burpsuite and other testing/fuzzing tools. Most coding I've done in this area has been ops based. Long ago I coded websites with PHP/mySQL/jQuery/javascript/apache and built out my first linux system including compiling my own custom kernels (Gentoo) to become LAMP stack oriented. I fit into full time (non contract) remote only roles that need things built in an unconventional way due to environmental constraints or budgetary constraints. My strengths include learning, adapting, and pivoting smoothly between proprietary and opensource tool sets.
