8 year Army combat veteran. I enlisted at 17 into the Washington Army National Guard as an Armor crewmember. have worked in the cabinet and woodworking industry as well since I was 16. I have always had a keen interest in coding and computers. Started to learn code through tutorials on making games in python, that turned into automating most every interaction my wife does on a daily basis with moving different files to folders and managing all of her backups. I moved into SQL and data analytics using python when I had the opportunity to work with an established live database. After being exposed to other developers, Database managers, and web developers, I started down the path of Java and c#. I love to learn and do so quickly. I believe there is not a problem that cannot be solved with the right amount of consideration and coffee. I've completed courses on Coursera for IT support specialist Google certification and Deep learning. I have also done more Microsoft MTA certifications. Currently working with the scientist at the Pacific Marine Environmental Lab (PMEL), supporting their network and computer needs as well as being a resource for methodologies and techniques to securely accomplish their data driven mission.On the home front, I am starting my lab back from scratch as I lost alot of older servers in the move. Setting up an Active Directory for managing my daughters computer and other machines in the house as well as setting up a kubernetes control node for later projects.
