I am a result-orientated program/project manager with 9+ years of experience in the field of IT. Being a fast and eager learner, I am detail oriented and adopt to changing project requirements quickly to meet business goals. Every client comes with his/her own set of challenges, requirements and as a program/project manager I empathize with them and help them in conceptualizing solutions. The most satisfying part of being a project manager is when I see a smile in the clients face as the conceptualized solution steadily turns into a fully functional system in the form of multiple deliverables.The development team is as important to the project as the client and the project sponsor as they are responsible to build the thing right. Being a program/project manager, I ensure that I always unblock my team and maintain healthy collaboration between them. For example, if there is a new member in the development team, I prefer to involve him/her in pair programming with a senior member of the development team so that the new member gets well versed with the overall coding and database structures with time.I have managed full stack, off the shelf solution projects like shopify, wordpress, magento, joomla, squarespace and projects related to UI/UX. Throughout my career, I have also used various project management tools like Jira, Basecamp, Trello, Asana, and Salesforce in addition to communication tools like Skype and Slack.I have an overall industry experience of 18+ years where I have also excelled in SEO and Business Development. I would like to put it like this - its my experience in SEO and Business development that has helped to gradually accumulate knowledge about project management. When I used to work in the field of business development, I used to ask questions to my project managers about how they manage the projects that I bring in. I used to observe as to how they carried themselves throughout the entire course of the project, performed their daily activities, managed client expectations and the development team etc. The real time experience of experiencing project management, taking on the challenge of project management myself and excelling at it is what has led me to where I am today where I have earned over 9+ years of experience in program/project management. When I am not managing projects, I prefer spending some quiet time. Movies of Action, Comedy, Suspense and Triller, Biography genres fascinate me. I love reading biographies and fiction, "Life after Life" by Raymond A Moody being my last read. I play chess (not a pro by any means).
