Well Operations Supervisor
- Spearhead end-to-end well-site operations, ensuring safe and collaborative work environment whilst utilizing prioritization, time management, and multitasking abilities to complete work requirements on time and in alignment with specifications.- Oversee repair and maintenance activities, scheduling and conducting detailed on-site inspections of retrieved downhole equipment, identifying discrepancies, and liaising with well engineering personnel regarding failure mechanisms and improvement strategies.- Administer coaching, mentoring, training, and development for field personnel to achieve team synergy and elevate performance, efficiency, and productivity, thus accomplishing 100% compliance with Shell policies and regulations.- Complete programmed unconventional CSG workover functions, including sucker rods replacement, tubing, PCP, downhole tools, wellbore reinstatement, and wellbore solids management through air unloads and downhole fishing operations.Achievements:- Collaborated with contractors to proactively identify site risks and cultivate robust operational risk mitigation plans.- Executed programmed remedial work scopes with zero harm, such as wireline perforations, cement squeezes, and casing patches.- Operated as a Site Safety Manager whilst evaluating day-to-day operations and ensuring adherence to State/Territory Petroleum Act.- Built strong third-party relationships, negotiating win-win agreements whilst maintaining highly competitive contractors in alignment with Shell expectations and guidelines.- Inspected well sites pre-rig moves to ensure long-term access and operational excellence.- Successfully completing programmed well plug and abandonment (P&A) operations, encompassing installing multistage cement plugs in unconventional high fluid loss well environments, wellhead removals, and reporting during post-P&A monitoring period.
