Responsible for the team that builds, engineers, and assembles all of the prototypes from harnesses, to modules, to full vehicles for NIO US. This includes a 15,000 sq ft shop space, machine shop, 3D printers, and a team of engineers.

Responsible for a team of engineers developing new, advanced, technology from sketch to production in a variety of categories. The projects required full life cycle development including hardware, software, prototypes, and production.

I worked with a team of instructors at SimRaceway Performance Driving Center (formerly Jim Russell). In addition, I instructed at the SimRaceway Performance Karting Center, coaching students both beginning and advanced in a variety of karting courses and Arrive and Drive events.

Responsible for the suspension tune for all variants of the Model S Premium Luxury Sedan. We tune and develop a system all our own. The entire car was tuned in-house at our facility in Palo Alto, CA. With a small team (2-3) we tuned dampers, springs, sway bars, bushings, and steering. This includes all packages and options, including air suspension tuning, coil spring tuning, and the Performance+ tuning. The result: Model S is awarded the 2013 MotorTrend Car of the Year!

I was responsible for bringing the air suspension, coil suspension, and front steering knuckle from sketch to production as well as packaging in an all new platform. I completed the design from concept through to production and was the point of contact for the suppliers. The steering knuckle receiving the 2011 Casting of the Year award.

I helped to solve durability issues, design issues and development issues for WRC and Le Mans Series race car turbo chargers including the turbos supplied to the Audi R10 and R15 Diesel, both overall winners at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
