Muhammad Rafie Akbar, S.H. is currently an active student, creative worker, and organizer/activist. He has already graduated with a bachelor's degree in Law (focusing on International Law) from Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2024. As a student, he is currently pursuing bachelor's degrees (S1) in two prestigious universities in Indonesia: a bachelor's degree in Islamic Education at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi and a bachelor's degree in Communication Science at Universitas Terbuka. In 2023, he had the opportunity to study abroad for one semester representing Universitas Sumatera Utara to Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, focusing on Law. Thus, it can be said that within a span of three years (2020-2023), he has experienced studying at four different universities.As a creative worker, Rafie is one of the initiators and executive producers of GRNG Projects, a creative production company in Medan city that encompasses various creative endeavors, including overseeing the official video production for the band 1080. Within the band 1080, he serves as a vocalist, songwriter, and executive producer for all the songs he sings and writes, along with his bandmates. The band itself has garnered over 50,000 listeners throughout Indonesia and certain parts of Malaysia. Among the releases, "Kota Medan Sore Itu" (Retrospeksi Medan, 2023) gained attention from the Mayor of Medan and also the public. He is also a writer, both fiction and non-fiction in various medias. The latest book that he released is a single poem anthology titled “Jangan Jadi Konsentrasiku” (July 2024).In the field of organization, Rafie is one of the founders of a digital-based community called Idedukasi (idedukasi.com). This organization aims to develop ideas, disseminate education, and dedicate itself to the nation for the sake of all Indonesian children. With this simple vision, he has been the Leader of this community since 2022. Idedukasi has over 30 members spread across various locations in Indonesia.Furthermore, Rafie is also actively involved as an activist, voicing his opinions, thoughts, and ideas through various media platforms. He actively participates in national and international community service and volunteer activities in Indonesia, as well as various internationally-based volunteer initiatives during his stay in Malaysia.
