• Coordinated collaboration among four NGO partners and 10 government stakeholders under the PEPFAR-funded DREAMS (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, Aids-Free, Mentored, Safe) initiative to provide HTS screening, gender-based violence (GBV) response, scholarship/bursaries, leadership training, and social asset building for 35,000+ adolescent girls and young women. • Influenced partner efforts in transitioning data entry of over 45,000 beneficiaries into DHIS2 digital health system to promote confidentiality and live data visualization/analytics of the five-year program.• Prepared the completion of 4 quarterly reports and biweekly meetings accessible to DREAMS partners pertaining to activities planned, quarterly coordination, successes, challenges, and ways to move forward.

Duties include: - Served and taught for 27 months at a Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) in rural Malawi for over 200 high school-age students within Chisenga, Chitipa. - Used various literacy strategies to improve critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills to improve English proficiency with 10th and 11th grade students for two years. - Facilitated an Adult Literacy program for 8 community members two hours a week in order to improve English proficiency and parent participation in their students’ academic performance.- Facilitated an after school debate and drama club with over 25 members once a week to improve English comprehension, speaking, and critical thinking. The club organized 6 termly debate competitions and variety shows for students and staff to practice their English proficiency, as well as discuss issues involving HIV/AIDS prevention, life skills, Malaria, and Education.- Collaborated with school administration to establish a girl-friendly dormitory for female students by completing a grant proposal to provide mattresses, a kitchen for a daily feeding program, and the proper electrical wiring for over 140 girls enrolled at the school. - Completed termly teacher development workshops surrounding gender equitable practices, system strengthening, and computer competency with the school’s 10-member staff. - Served as Media and Campaign Chair on Peace Corps Malawi Gender committee, disseminating resources and information to serving volunteers concerning global gender initiatives and campaigns involving empowerment and equity.- Served on a mini-task force to help assess and improve the administrative response and support for volunteers reporting issues concerning sexual harassment/assault at site with Peace Corps Malawi post staff. - Planned and implemented a regional resiliency retreat for volunteers entering their second year of service to discuss coping mechanisms, community identity, and self-care.
