My job entails following a project from the initial telephone or email enquiry by the architect or contractor to the inspection and approval of the finished product.I liaise with architects discussing their conceptual designs and how to manufacture them. I calculate or obtain costs for the proposed products and pass this information on to our sales department to compose a formal written quotation.I produce outline approval drawings and manufacturing drawings on AutoCAD. I create conceptual designs, presentational images and avi files on Autodesk Inventor should they be required.I source any parts required for the project in hand.I use data management system Winman 7 to create the necessary bill of materials and order the required sub contract parts.
