Serve as Medical Informatics advisor for design and development of Registries, to GAHM LLC, which has a medical journal (Global Advances in Health and Medicine) focused on global convergences in health and medicine, systems-oriented approaches in healthcare, and high-quality case reports. In 2012 GAHM LLC co-hosted a 2-day consensus meeting with international experts and developed the CARE guidelines— health research reporting guidelines for case reports. These guidelines support the analysis of systematically collected data from patient encounters for signals of cost, effectiveness, and harms to improve the delivery of healthcare.

We're out to "hack obesity" through a once-a-day pill for the reduction of belly fat in middle-aged men and women.The company is pursuing an alternative and accelerated FDA regulatory path, to bring an Rx obesity drug to market, in 10X less time, and 100X less cost. Xlipstream pioneered a new class of plug-n-play XML integration appliances which automate interoperability between disparate data silos. Sethi also learned that "if you're ahead of the market, you're ahead of the revenue." The startup successfully shipped product, but ultimately we shuddered the company (but retained IP). In 2002, working with a team of ex-Sequoia, ex-Citrix, and ex-Sourcefire, the company completed a functional FPGA prototype (IC chip) of it's embedded softcore technology. Xlipstream completed R&D, multiple product commercializations, through first revenue install at the DoD in Q4'03, raising $1.75M in private seed funding. Xlipstream hardware appliances are simple plug-n-play solutions to remediate HIPAA insurance claims for provider billing applications. The Johns Hopkins NICU and Xlipstream successfully installed a "universal hardware adapter" for capturing printed data from closed medical devices, exporting to modern clinical applications.

Sethi founded Sequoia Software (NASDAQ: SQSW) in March 1992 and served as Chairman and CEO, later as CTO. Growing the company to over 250 people, he helped complete three rounds of venture financing ($45 million), plus a successful IPO ($40 million). His M&A experience includes Sequoia's acquisition of Radian Systems in a cash and pooling transaction. In the post-meltdown Spring of 2000, Sequoia completed a successful IPO. In 2001, Sethi helped Citrix Systems (NASDAQ: CTXS) acquire Sequoia in a cash transaction totaling $184.6M.At Sequoia, Sethi bet the company on Microsoft NT in early 1992, then helped pioneer XML in early 1995, all the while growing revenue at a CAGR of 90% during the first 6 years. Sethi's technical achievements include conceiving and co-architecting HL7's "Kona Protocol" (which became HL7's Clinical Data Architecture), the global standard for XML-based interchange of health data. He is a founding member of the HL7 XML Special Interest Group, and the ASTM E31.25 Committee on XML for Healthcare. Sethi holds patents in XML indexing, and embedded XML technologies (pending). He was the Principal Investigator on a $2 million XML based NIST Grant for "A Master Patient Index for Massively Distributed Records Across a U.S. National Backbone."

Co-founded Dakota Imaging, a healthcare billing and document management developer, growing it from inception to $300K+ in top-line revenues and staff of 4, in year one. Responsible for all sales and marketing, plus engineering functions, and tech support. Largest customers - the Department of Economic & Employment Development (DEED), State of Maryland, and the Christian Children's Fund (CCF). For CCF, developed a unique HDTV solution to produce their promotional photo packages and eliminate time to market, reduce turnaround time and avoid significant loss of prospective sponsors. In 2004, WebMD (NASDAQ: WBMD) acquired Dakota Imaging for it's US healthcare claims business, for $40M.Nicholas "Dakota" Sethi is Anil's son.
