Working in UGC team as backend engineer. Projects - - Worked on building new APIs and upgraded and optimise existing APIs built using Django rest framework.- Built beta release framework which is utilised to launch various new features in phased manner to writers.- Built functionality for in app notifications for likes and comments on novels and series for users on PocketFM and PocketNovels apps.- Built a common service to send event triggered real time notifications to writers.

· Built, upgraded and maintained scalable and efficient Web Crawlers and Bots to crawl pricing and content of hotels for all major OTA’s and Metas which helped improve pricing and supply on funnel and increase revenue.· Built real time demand traffic consumption pipeline using Kafka in Python and processed high demand data asynchronously using Celery which helped optimize and increase overall crawls.· Maintained, improved and worked on the integration of Polyglot (Translation CMS) with multiple internal teams for translation and transliteration of content, which added multilingual support to our application.· Reduced total crawling time by adding Redis caching for frequently used hotel mapping data fetched from MySQL, which helped us scale to 2 million crawl signals daily.

· Developed and owned frontend for a Redis timeseries powered web application using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap to render real time plots using Plotly comparing prices, transactions and demand data of hotels across all OTA's to generate competitive insights.· Built an algorithm to map multi-unit properties on AirBnb and Booking.com with hotels on MakeMyTrip using hotel’s content and image matching which helped increase listings on our systems.· Managed old and developed new backend APIs in Python and Django for hotel supply price insights dashboard to track competition prices on hotels.
