These are a selected few news and weather promos that I have either technical directed or have done camera movements for. As the name implies these promos are to promote the big headlining (good or bad) stories. I also edit these promos using Adobe Premiere or Avid Media. I am on a strict deadline when I am assigned to edit promos. After shooting and editing these promos I send them to master control in Little Rock so they can be aired on live television promoting our news broadcasts in prime time. Usually these promos are assigned to an editor or someone in promotions, I am the only production assistant at KNWA/FOX24 news to ever be assigned editing promos.

During my final year at the University of Arkansas I was part of senior staff. This is my 2nd position after being promoted from Technical Director and this would be my last overall job and role at the University of Arkansas. At this role I managed just about every person working or volunteering at UATV. I would edit news scripts written by the news producers for the semester. After editing and I would give my stamp of approval for scripts and news stories to be broadcasted on-air. Speaking of volunteers, it was also my responsibility to assign and train any student volunteers that came to the station.

This is an old short lived podcast my friends and I had. These episodes were recorded using Audacity and stored on an Seagate 1TB hard drive. Doing these podcasts sparked my interests in journalism and content creating. I co-hosted, produced, edited these podcasts using Audacity or Adobe Premiere. Finally after the post-production process, I uploaded to YouTube and Facebook. I would also write the descriptions before being uploaded. The photo used as our logo was also made by me using Photoshop.
