The project integrates Indigenous perspectives, knowledge, and competencies into the pedagogy of UBC Sauder into curricula and provides transformative training and resources to faculty and key leaders.Key deliverables were:- The development of curriculum resources and training materials to improve faculty members’ capabilities in teaching Indigenous topics in an informed and sensitive manner. - Enriching UBC Sauder student education with a better understanding of Canada’s history, the current issues facing Indigenous & non-Indigenous Canadians, and our shared path forward towards a future of true reconciliation.- Developing and sustaining decolonial perspectives and respect for Indigenous worldviews and scholarship throughout the institution.Our team provided customized in-person and hybrid training on Indigenous topics for 80+ senior leaders and faculty, coordinated a variety of classroom and content experiences in BCom and graduate courses, and built a customized online resource centre to assist faculty in their Indigenization efforts.
