Taught a 10th grade political science elective on the American legal system. Used mock trails and other simulations to give high school students a strong background federal, state, and local law, court procedures, and the foundations of democracy

Golden State Middle School

Taught seventh and eighth grade English and history core classes as well as a SDAIE class in world history. Worked primarily with ELL students and developed strategies for teaching reading comprehension to struggling readers using grade-level materials. Created classroom materials as there was little established curriculum.
