I secured a place on the graduate scheme following a competitive interview process where only 108 people were successful from the thousands that applied. I was required to demonstrate my previous volunteering and fundraising experience and following this I raised over £3000 for Raleigh international. I went on the local radio and created awareness regarding the charity and discussed the the events which I had organised. The experience then enabled me lead expeditions in areas such as the environment and the community in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
